From Bootcamp to Body Confidence: How One Member Found Her Fitness Flow at The Colony

This member joined The Colony Health and Fitness in April last year after spotting one of our bootcamps on Instagram.
She’d recently had cosmetic surgery and wanted to get herself feeling fit, strong, and confident again — especially with a holiday on the horizon.
What started as a short-term plan to tone up for a trip has turned into a lasting routine she genuinely enjoys.

The Challenge

Before joining, she’d tried different gyms and personal trainers but never really stuck with one place for long.
She wanted something that felt more personal, more sociable, and more motivating — somewhere she’d actually want to keep coming back to.

Why She Nearly Didn't Start

Like many people, she thought about signing up, but wasn’t sure if it would be her thing.

From her very first bootcamp, she felt right at home.

She now trains regularly through the week (Friday sessions are her favourite!) and loves the variety of people and personalities in every class.
